Are vitamin drips for immunity worth considering in London?

A drip marketed for immunity, energy or detox is not equivalent to treating a diagnosed deficiency. Request the specific indication, ingredients, expected outcome and evidence for that formulation and route.
The ASA investigated intravenous vitamin advertising ↗ and found several benefit claims unsubstantiated. Testimonials and the presence of vitamins do not establish the promised effect in a healthy person.
If fatigue or frequent illness is the concern
Start with your GP and describe symptoms, duration, diet, sleep and medicines. The clinician can decide whether investigations are needed and which treatment is justified. The NHS explains blood testing ↗: tests should address a clinical question rather than simply fill a commercial package.
Do not prepay for a course promising to correct every deficiency. Intravenous iron, B12 treatment and commercial vitamin cocktails have different indications and pathways; the usefulness of one does not establish a need for another.
Checking an English clinic
Check the legal provider and applicable CQC registration. The CQC scope ↗ includes specified intravenous administration of vitamins and prescription products, including saline, as regulated treatment.
Establish who assesses you, prescribes the formulation and administers it. Check a nurse's registration with the NMC ↗. Ask about infection control, observation, emergency arrangements and communication with your doctor. Service registration does not prove the effectiveness of every advertised procedure.
The quote and consent discussion
Obtain the ingredients, complete price, any additional tests, observation time and refund conditions for unused sessions. Consent should include risks and alternatives, including having no procedure.
Avoid an unidentified mixture without assessment, guaranteed immunity claims or an invitation to select ingredients yourself. Severe deterioration after an infusion needs medical attention rather than another restorative drip.
