London women’s community: chat rules and useful contacts

This women's community helps people in London meet, find company, discover events and share useful information. You can ask about the city, share your experience and arrange a walk. A few rules help keep the chat a welcoming place.

Speak respectfully

No insults, personal attacks, bullying, aggression or public arguments. Disagreement can be expressed calmly; it does not justify humiliating another member. The administrators may remove someone without warning for abusive or aggressive behaviour.

If there is a conflict or a rule is being broken, contact the administrator. Do not publish another member's personal details or continue the dispute in the main chat.

Agree advertising in advance

Links to channels or chats, events, services, courses, programmes and all commercial announcements require prior agreement with the administrator ↗. This includes an invitation presented as a personal recommendation when it promotes your own project or service.

Find event announcements at @eventmeuk ↗. Ask the administrator about advertising arrangements before posting; sending an announcement without agreement does not count as approval.

Currency exchange and money transfers

The chat is not intended for currency exchanges, money transfers or private financial arrangements. Administrators do not participate in these transactions or guarantee them.

Shared groups, a profile picture and a familiar display name do not verify someone's identity. Check the exact username and do not send money because someone pressures you or says it is urgent. Do not send the first payment to a stranger on the strength of a promised return transfer.

Do not give a bot documents, banking details or another person's private messages to participate in this chat. The community friendship bot is the separate snami_community_bot ↗.

Use the marketplace for personal sales

For buying, selling or exchanging belongings, use the dedicated London marketplace ↗. Do not post personal sales in the main women's chat. A person's membership does not mean administrators have verified the seller or item.

Take medical questions to qualified professionals

The chat is not a place to prescribe treatment. Members may calmly share personal experiences, a doctor's or clinic's contact details, or a booking link. Frightening advice, unqualified prescriptions and dangerous treatment suggestions will be removed.

Contact a doctor or GP for routine questions. If you need medical help now and are unsure where to turn in England, use NHS 111 ↗ or call 111. For a life-threatening emergency call 999 ↗. Do not wait for chat replies in an emergency.

Do not promote harmful activities

Do not promote drugs, cigarettes, vaping or dangerous practices in the chat. Sharing an experience must not become advertising for harmful behaviour or an invitation to repeat it.

Protect personal information

Do not publish someone else's phone number, address, documents, banking details, private messages or screenshots containing personal information without permission. Check images for other people's details before posting. Being in a shared chat does not mean agreeing to have private conversations published elsewhere.

If you have been removed

Contact @kakdelaadmin ↗ to ask about the reason and whether returning is possible. An earlier version of the rules mentioned £10 for rejoining; ask the administrator whether that policy and its conditions still apply. This page does not offer a re-entry payment or promise automatic restoration of access after a payment.
