Buying tickets for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

Use the official RHS Chelsea page ↗ for tickets and programme. Checked on 7 October 2026, the 2027 show is announced for 18–22 May, with member sales from 19 October and public sales from 21 October 2026. Recheck published terms before payment.

Avoid using last year's dates to assess an offer. RHS runs several shows; Chelsea and another flower event are not interchangeable. Confirm Royal Hospital Chelsea and the actual day.

Choose the admission type

For 2027, Tuesday and Wednesday are listed as members' days and Thursday–Saturday as public days. Friday Chelsea Late is separate. Check inclusions, entry and closing time; evening access is not automatically a full-day ticket.

If joining RHS for access, compare subscription cost, discount and realistic future garden visits. Membership does not itself include a Chelsea ticket. Establish ticket limits and guest conditions.

Full budget

Add transport, meals and any restaurant package. Special lunches and hospitality may be separate products with their own inclusions. Food photographs in the programme do not establish complimentary catering.

Use the official sale's price for your day and category rather than a previous year's blog figure. Check refund, date-change, naming and transfer rules. Coordinate group purchases before selecting incompatible admission times.

Plan the visit

Read the map, access arrangements and rules for children, bags and equipment. Consider comfortable footwear, weather and rest opportunities. Book necessary mobility equipment in advance where required instead of assuming availability on arrival.

Prioritise several gardens and displays while allowing movement time. Final-day plant selling has its own timetable and does not authorise taking plants from any display. Follow current RHS instructions and save the ticket offline.
