Checking what a Japanese head spa or scalp treatment includes

A head spa may combine cleansing, massage, masks, water, steam or devices. Ask for the exact stages and their duration. A water-ring video does not explain who assesses the scalp or chooses products.
Treatwell lists different London head-spa options ↗. Compare the particular booking and provider rather than assuming Japanese wording indicates medical expertise or a quality standard.
Discuss suitability first
Disclose irritation, sensitivities, allergies, recent colouring, extensions and treatments. Ask what happens if damaged skin is found. Persistent itching, inflammation or marked shedding needs appropriate medical assessment; BAD provides skin-condition information ↗.
A scalp camera does not turn a salon examination into a diagnosis. Separate cosmetic observations from disease claims. Avoid buying a hair-loss treatment course solely from an enlarged image.
Comfort and full cost
Check neck positioning, massage adjustments and water temperature. Confirm compatibility with extension attachments. For fragrance sensitivity, ask about ingredients and alternatives beforehand.
Drying or a full blow-dry may cost separately. Establish how your hair will be left and the whole appointment's duration. Compare the final price with extras rather than only the shortest advertised slot.
Review afterwards
Obtain any washing or styling instructions and observe scalp comfort afterwards. Report reactions and seek healthcare when needed rather than automatically repeating a package.
A head spa can be a suitable grooming or relaxation choice, but does not replace investigation of symptoms. A clearly specified single appointment may be more useful initially than buying a large course before assessing comfort and benefit.
