A multicooker is useful when its actual functions match your cooking. A “nine-in-one” description does not mean nine equally necessary appliances. Begin with meals you make every week and the operations you want to simplify.

Compare functions against tasks

List the capabilities you genuinely need: pressure cooking, slow cooking, sautéing, steaming or others. Not every model provides them. Establish whether lids must be changed and whether the stages of a meal can conveniently follow one another.
