This catalogue covers 26 schools and brands offering adult English or junior programmes in the UK. Start with your goal, dates, English level, preferred age group and full travel budget. We can request suitable options and help with the application; the chosen school confirms eligibility, availability and the final quote before booking.
Information updated from supplied school offers on 9 October 2026. The list is not a quality ranking, a promise of places or a claim that every programme runs throughout the year. Course names, fees, accommodation, dates and ability to arrange a booking must be reconfirmed for your trip.
Free course selection and application help
Tell Me UK helps adults choose English courses and parents compare suitable junior programmes in the UK. Our course selection, comparison and school-application support for the programmes we can arrange is free to the student: we do not charge a separate consultancy or application-support fee.
We help clarify your goal and level, compare suitable schools, request availability and a full quotation, submit the school application and coordinate course and accommodation questions. Before any booking, we confirm that we can arrange the chosen programme through the school.
You pay the course, school registration/materials, accommodation and any other agreed supplier charges. Flights, entry-permission costs, insurance, transfers, meals and activities are extra unless specifically included. Free help does not mean free tuition or accommodation, and it does not guarantee admission, a visa or a particular language outcome.
We may receive a commission from the school for an eligible booking. The school’s offer and full payable total are supplied before payment; availability, entry requirements and cancellation terms still apply.
Email Kate — kate@eventmem.info. For a first enquiry, tell us your age, approximate English level, goal, dates, course length, preferred city, accommodation needs and total budget. For a child, include their age on arrival and whether a residential or daytime programme is needed. Passport scans and payment-card details are not needed for the initial enquiry.

Course-price comparison: two and four weeks
These examples are for one adult and include only tuition and the listed registration/materials. Accommodation is excluded. They come from school offers supplied for this update, reviewed on 9 October 2026; their tariff year and validity differ. Fifteen hours and twenty hours are different study loads, so the lowest total is not automatically the best course.
| School | Hours/week | Two weeks | Four weeks | Tariff and included fees |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lewis School, Southampton | 15 | £395 | £725 | 2027; £65 registration and GE materials included |
| ETC, Bournemouth | 15 | £480 | £860 | 2026 offer for eligible bookings by 31 December 2026; £100 registration included |
| Language Tuition Nottingham | 15 | £545 | £975 | January 2027 special quote; £70 registration and £45 book included; reconfirm validity |
| LILA*, Liverpool | 15 | £665 | £1,235 | 2027; £55 registration and £40 book included |
| IH Bristol | 15 | £748 | £1,322 | 2027 outside summer supplements; £65 registration and £49 materials included |
| The English Studio, London | 20 | £840 | £1,600 | October 2026 quote; £80 registration/materials included; later dates need a new quote |
With accommodation, the total increases. Lewis GE15 plus half-board homestay outside the summer supplement is approximately £785 for two weeks or £1,505 for four, including registration, on the supplied 2027 rate. LILA* GE15 plus standard en-suite self-catering residence and the quoted book, registration and placement fee is approximately £1,090 / £2,030. Confirm actual nights and extra-night charges. Neither example is the full travel budget.
Eurospeak’s supplied GE15 guide price gives £705 for four weeks with £60 registration and the quoted £25 book, before accommodation; the tariff year must be reconfirmed. Our free application support under that arrangement is for at least four weeks. We do not present the unconfirmed year as a fixed 2027 price.
What to include in your brief
For adults: General English for everyday communication, an intensive course for a heavier workload, exam preparation for a particular test, or a mature-adult programme when age mix and cultural activities matter. Twenty 45-minute lessons equal 15 hours. Ask for the actual classroom timetable and separate excursions from lessons.
For accommodation: compare homestay meals, a self-catering residence, private bathroom, door-to-class commute, actual nights, deposits and seasonal/dietary supplements. A low tuition price can be outweighed by expensive accommodation or daily transport.
For juniors: choose the exact age band and centre, daytime versus residential format, supervision and handover arrangements. Confirm meals, excursions, transfers, insurance, emergency contacts and cancellation terms. The four specialist summer operators are listed after the adult-school entries; some adult schools also have junior or family options.
01. Oxford International — London, Oxford and Brighton
General English, IELTS preparation, adult programmes and groups.
Price: Request a quotation for your dates, course length and accommodation; no comparable two- or four-week total is available in the supplied offer.
Before booking: Compare the actual campus, commute and accommodation rather than choosing on the group name alone.

How the application works
1. Email your goal, dates and budget. We narrow the options and explain the differences that affect your trip.
2. We request places and a complete quote: course, real teaching hours, materials, registration, accommodation nights, meals and other compulsory costs.
3. You choose after reviewing the school’s terms. We help with the school’s application and the required course/accommodation information. An offer is not a booking until the school confirms it under its terms.
4. Before payment, check who invoices you, the payment deadline, cancellation, date changes, visa-refusal terms, and what happens if the appropriate class does not run. Do not pay using instructions from an unverified message.
5. Before travel, confirm the address, timetable, arrival arrangements and school contact. Entry-permission questions need the current official rules for your nationality and trip; school admission does not itself grant permission to enter the UK.
Our selection and application support is free within the scope described above. For your own comparison and quote, Email Kate — kate@eventmem.info.
