Читать на русскомNotify the clinic before another session
Tell the clinic about pregnancy and request its clinical policy and the device-specific restrictions. Do not conceal a health change to preserve payment. BMLA discusses laser-treatment considerations ↗; this does not establish that every course is safe.
Request written confirmation of the pause and treatment of the next appointment's cancellation charge. Resuming after pregnancy or breastfeeding needs separate discussion rather than an automatic calendar date.
Locate the contract
Collect receipts, package description, used sessions, expiry, freezing terms and correspondence. Establish whether you purchased a course or separate appointments.
Pregnancy does not create a universal unconditional right to a full package refund. Citizens Advice explains cancelling services in England ↗, including differences between distance and in-premises contracts. Select local guidance elsewhere in the UK.
Request a specific remedy
Ask for the unused balance back or a freeze allowing enough time after treatment can resume. Request an explanation of how completed sessions are valued. Retrospectively applying a different price is not automatically reasonable without justification.
For credit, establish expiry, transferability and alternative services. Do not accept an unsuitable procedure merely to use the money. Record agreement before the original package expires.
If refused
Send a formal complaint identifying payment, remaining entitlement and the requested remedy. Ask for the relevant terms and justification for retention. Keep the response and seek consumer advice for your jurisdiction. Bank disputes and court action require separate assessment; neither guarantees automatic recovery.
