Читать на русскомSeparate the trial from the wedding booking
Prepare a brief with the date, preparation address, departure time, number of people and reference images. Establish who performs the trial and whether the same professional attends the wedding. A trial without a confirmed date does not necessarily reserve the artist.
Secret Spa describes bridal trials and mobile wedding services ↗. Checked on 7 October 2026, a combined hair and makeup trial starts at £165 and wedding-morning hair and makeup at £300. These are separate starting prices, not a guaranteed total; check package terms and supplements.
Use the trial to test the look
Bring dress photographs, hair accessories and details of the veil. Discuss coverage, lashes, hairstyle durability and comfort throughout the day. Mention reactions to cosmetics or adhesive.
Inspect the result in daylight, photograph several angles and assess comfort after a few hours. Record agreed changes. If you intend to apply your own makeup, choose an actual lesson or suitable brand appointment, such as the Bobbi Brown bridal options ↗, and clarify what teaching is included.
Contract and complete costs
Obtain a document naming the professionals, address, date, services, deposit and balance. Clarify travel, parking, an early start, extra people, hairpieces, lashes and waiting time. Request cancellation, wedding-postponement and artist-illness replacement terms.
Ask separately about touch-ups after the ceremony: a morning appointment does not mean the artist stays all day. Agree separately on permission to publish your photographs rather than assuming publicity is compulsory.
Build the morning schedule
Work backwards from departure, including dressing, photography, travel and a buffer. For a group, ask whether two professionals are needed. Do not give everyone the same appointment time without a workable sequence.
Prepare daylight, sockets and a working surface; agree on hotel access. Have a clear replacement plan or backup contact. Reconfirm the timetable shortly before the date and communicate address or group changes in advance.
